After high school I went to the University of Iowa to study music and elementary education. Since then I've pretty much always been on the go.

I moved to Nashville in 2000 and lived there 5 years while trying my hand at being a professional musician. Going on tours, writing and performing music, and producing albums was a dream come true.

In 2005 I moved to Oklahoma City and worked at a small firm as a broker for 2 years. That job was a good stepping stone which eventually allowed me the freedom to go off and find new adventures overseas, while focusing on the things most important in my life.

In 2007 I moved to East Asia and have been traveling around all over the place ever since. I have been doing relief work, studying language, culture, and much much more.

Life is an adventure!
